Prophecy Series Specs and Features

Each guitar has a thermally aged, graphite-reinforced one-piece maple neck with a Hyperglide profile. The bound ebony fretboard has a 10- to 14-inch compound radius and 24 stainless steel frets.

Every Prophecy guitar carries a pair of custom-voiced Fishman Fluence pickups developed exclusively for the series. They offer three sounds: modern active humbucker tones, vintage-inspired humbucker character and single-coil-style articulation.

The pickups are mounted with Dual-Axis Pickup Stabilization (DAPS), a proprietary, body-anchored system that keeps them aligned and parallel to the strings. It allows precise height adjustment and eliminates conventional mounting rings.

The series is built to stay clear and controlled in modern and lower tunings. Locking Grover tuners and model-specific bridge systems support dependable tuning, while black nickel hardware and satin finishes give the lineup a unified look.

Aljon Go, Epiphone’s product development manager, summed up the series. “The Prophecy Series is built for players who expect more from their instruments.”

Go outlined the approach. “By pairing our iconic designs with modern performance features like custom-voiced Fishman Fluence pickups, Hyperglide necks, and stainless-steel frets, we’ve built a lineup that’s fast, versatile, reliable, and built for today’s players.”

“Every detail was engineered to help musicians focus less on their gear and more on their performance,” Go added. The series spans five models, each in a satin finish.

The Prophecy Victory FR pairs the Victory shape with a mahogany body, flamed maple veneer and an Explorer-style headstock. It has a 25.5-inch scale and a Floyd Rose 1000 Series tremolo, and it comes in Obsidian Storm Satin or Aqua Smoke Satin.

The Prophecy Les Paul has a 25.5-inch scale length and a weight-relieved mahogany body with a maple cap. It is offered in Obsidian Storm Satin, Forest Phantom Satin and Crimson Fog Satin.

Each model ships with a Protector Ultralite case. Together, the five guitars offer varied body styles, scale lengths, bridge configurations and finishes on a consistent performance platform.

The launch also targets a broad audience. “Heavy music comes in more than one shape, and the players pushing it forward aren’t coming from just one scene,” said Lewis McKinney III, marketing manager at Epiphone.

“The rebuilt Prophecy Series gives guitarists across metal, hardcore, and beyond an instrument they can count on gig after gig, with the range to turn the sound in their heads into something you can feel in the room,” McKinney added. Apparel launches alongside it.

The black “Fulfill the Prophecy” hoodie has a distressed Epiphone logo on the chest and an oversized two-color guitar graphic on the back. A coordinating T-shirt carries the same artwork.
