You Have the Power: He-Man Retro Brawler Hits Switch, PS5 and Xbox
Eternia’s greatest hero is heading back to the arcade. He-Man and the Masters of the Universe™: Dragon Pearl of Destruction, a retro-inspired 2D brawler, launches digitally and physically on Feb. 4, 2027, for Nintendo Switch, PlayStation 5 and Xbox Series X|S.
Bitmap Bureau, the studio behind Terminator 2D: NO FATE and Final Vendetta, developed the game with Mattel and Clear River Games. Its look draws directly from the iconic 1980s animated series.
He-Man Dragon Pearl of Destruction Brings Classic Arcade Action
The story sends Eternia into its darkest hour as Skeletor and his army of villains lay siege to the planet. He-Man, She-Ra, Man-At-Arms and Teela are the heroes who must save it from certain doom.
Players can go solo or team up in two-player local co-op. He-Man, Man-At-Arms and Teela are playable, with She-Ra unlocking in future playthroughs, and each hero has a unique playstyle.
The game spans 13 stages, including the Royal Palace, the Vine Jungle and Snake Mountain. Players can ride Battle Cat and face villains such as Skeletor, Evil-Lyn, Beast Man, Trap Jaw, the sorceress Shokoti and the Shadow Beasts.
