Apple Stores around the world turned electric on Friday, September 18, as the iPhone 18 Pro and iPhone 18 Pro Max officially hit shelves. Crowds lined up early, eager to get their hands on the tech giant’s newest flagship lineup.

The launch wasn’t just about phones. Apple also rolled out the Apple Watch Series 12, Apple Watch Ultra 4 and AirPods 5, giving shoppers a full slate of new gear to explore in a single release day.

Inside the Launch-Day Frenzy

Store staff greeted customers with hands-on demos and personalized shopping help the moment doors opened. Many locations buzzed with energy as first-time buyers and longtime fans mingled near display tables.

Apple team members walked shoppers through each new device, from the Pro Max’s camera upgrades to the redesigned Apple Watch lineup. That kind of guided introduction has become a signature part of Apple’s launch playbook.

Photos from stores like The Exchange TRX in Kuala Lumpur showed packed aisles and hands reaching for demo units. The scene mirrored what’s typically expected on the first day of any major iPhone release.

How Shoppers Can Save on the New Lineup

Customers don’t have to visit a physical store to get in on the launch. Apple.com and the Apple Store app both offer the same new lineup, letting buyers browse and order from home.

Apple Specialists are on hand to walk shoppers through trading in an old device via Apple Trade In. That program can knock a meaningful amount off the price of a new iPhone or Watch.

Buyers can also spread out payments through financing with Apple Card or roll into Apple Upgrade, the company’s annual trade-up plan. Both options make the higher price tag of flagship hardware easier to swallow.

Carrier deals add another layer of savings, especially for anyone willing to switch providers or add a line. Once a purchase is complete, Apple’s Personal Setup service helps new owners transfer data and get their device running in minutes.
