The Bites, Dust Coda, Karma Effect Join Stage Tour’s Rock Lineup
Rock fans have three new reasons to crank the volume. Stage Tour, the upcoming rhythm game from RedOctane Games, just added three heavy-hitting tracks to its growing setlist courtesy of a partnership with legendary UK label Earache Records.
The additions bring The Bites, The Dust Coda, and The Karma Effect into the fold, joining a roster that already spans six decades of music. It’s a lineup update that skews harder and louder, perfect for anyone who likes their neighbors a little nervous.
Three New Bands Bring the Heat
The newly confirmed tracks are “Do Me a Favor” by The Bites, “Limbo Man” by The Dust Coda, and “Raised on Rock N Roll” by The Karma Effect. All three acts have carved out serious chart success in recent years.
Each band has climbed into the UK Top 40 album charts, and The Bites have gone a step further. The group also landed in the Top 40 of Billboard’s Mainstream Rock Airplay chart, a milestone that speaks to their crossover appeal.
The timing couldn’t be better for The Bites. Their sophomore album drops Friday, September 18, giving fans a reason to celebrate twice in one week.
The Karma Effect, meanwhile, released its most recent album back in May. Its new addition, “Raised on Rock N Roll,” now stands as the newest song confirmed for the entire Stage Tour lineup.
Setlist Grows to 51 Songs Ahead of Launch
With these three tracks locked in, Stage Tour’s confirmed setlist now sits at 51 songs. That’s a substantial chunk of the 90-plus tracks promised for the game’s full release.
The tracklist spans an eclectic mix of eras and genres, from Duran Duran’s “Rio” and The Clash’s “I Fought the Law” to modern staples like Bad Omens’ “Just Pretend” and Metallica’s “Lux Æterna.” It’s shaping up to be one of the more ambitious soundtracks in rhythm-game history.
Fans won’t have to wait long for the next drop. RedOctane has confirmed another setlist reveal for September 23, with the full game slated to launch December 10.
