Myst, Riven Physical Editions Coming to PS5, Xbox, PC
Limited Run Games and Cyan Worlds are bringing two of gaming’s most influential puzzle adventures back to store shelves. Myst and Riven are set for brand-new physical releases on PlayStation 5, Xbox, and PC later this year.
The re-releases mark a rare physical comeback for two titles best known today through digital downloads and remasters. Both games will ship in Standard and Big Box collector’s editions packed with extras for longtime fans.
Myst Returns With Standard and Collector’s Editions
Myst first launched in 1993 and became one of the most influential video games ever made, reaching more than six million players worldwide. The puzzle adventure sends players to a mysterious island called Myst Island and other otherworldly locations known as Ages.
The Myst Standard Edition costs $39.99 and includes a game case, disc, and an eight-page booklet for PS5, Xbox One, and Xbox Series X. The $64.99 Big Box Edition adds a soundtrack CD and a poster, with the PC version substituting a digital Steam key for the disc.
Riven Physical Release Brings Back a Fan-Favorite Sequel
Riven, the acclaimed sequel, drops players into a crumbling world ruled by a man who believes himself a god. Players explore dense jungles and massive stone structures while solving intricate puzzles to uncover the story and stage an escape.
Riven will also launch in Standard and Big Box editions, priced the same as Myst at $39.99 and $64.99, respectively. The Standard Edition covers PlayStation 5 and Xbox Series X, while the Big Box version adds PC alongside both consoles.
Pre-orders for both Myst and Riven open on September 18, 2026, on the Limited Run Games website and close on October 18, 2026. Fans hoping to add either title to their collection will need to order within that one-month window.
