XPENG Goes Big in Manila: New EVs, Anne Curtis, Flying Car
XPENG officially launched in the Philippines on Friday, September 25, unveiling a six-variant lineup across the X9 and L03 at SM Mall of Asia Arena. Roughly 3,000 attendees turned out for the event.
The evening doubled as a showcase of the company’s broader ambitions. Alongside the new vehicles, XPENG displayed its X2 Flying Car and IRON Humanoid Robot, hinting at where the brand is headed next.

Anne Curtis Joins XPENG as Brand Ambassador
One of the night’s biggest moments came when XPENG Philippines introduced Anne Curtis as its official brand ambassador. The actress, TV host and recording artist now fronts the brand’s push into the local market.
Katoon Su, country director of XPENG Philippines, said the lineup gives Filipino buyers a fuller range of choices. “Tonight, Filipino customers saw the full range of choices behind our Philippine debut,” Su said.
Su added that the company is pairing its vehicles with strong ownership support. “The customer experience after the launch matters just as much as the technology presented on stage,” Su said.
The event also featured performances from singer-songwriter TJ Monterde, Pinoy pop group GAT, and social media personality Criselda Alvarez. Their sets added to the scale and energy of the arena show.

Six Variants Across Two Models
The XPENG X9, the brand’s flagship seven-seater MPV, arrives in two Long Range variants. The X9 Long Range is priced at ₱3,858,000, while the version with the Second Row Premium Seat Package costs ₱4,058,000.
Both X9 variants share the same electric system, producing 235 kW and 450 Nm from a 110 kWh battery. XPENG says the SUV delivers up to 615 km of WLTP-rated driving range.
The XPENG L03 AI SUV Coupe launches in four variants, led by the L03 EV RWD Long Range Ultra at ₱2,058,000. Pricing runs down to the L03 EV Standard Range at ₱1,548,000.
The L03 lineup includes three battery-electric versions and one range-extended model, or REEV. The REEV variant can travel up to 215 km on electric power alone before its onboard engine engages.
Reservations are open for ₱25,000 for the X9 and ₱10,000 for the L03 through XPENG’s Facebook and Instagram pages. Deliveries are expected to begin in the fourth quarter of this year.
