Real estate leaders to tee off at SHDA Golf Cup in Wack Wack
The Subdivision and Housing Developers Association (SHDA) is set to host the 4th SHDA Golf Cup on March 26, 2026, at Wack Wack Golf and Country Club in Mandaluyong City. The event will bring together developers, investors, financial institutions, and industry partners for a day of sportsmanship and collaboration.
Entering its fourth year, the SHDA Golf Cup has grown beyond a tournament into an annual gathering that allows housing industry leaders to exchange insights on emerging developments and strengthen relationships that support sector growth. Anchored on the theme “Driving Developments Forward,” the event highlights how strategy and focus on the golf course mirror planning and long-term vision in housing projects.
Competitive play and awards
This year, the tournament will continue with a modified Double Peoria scoring system, evaluating performance across a broader set of holes to create a balanced experience for golfers of all skill levels. Participants will compete for awards recognizing overall performance, including Lowest Net Overall Champion, Lowest Gross Champions, First Runners-Up, and Second Runners-Up for Classes A, B, and C.
Additional challenges, such as Hole-in-One, Nearest to the Pin, Longest Drive, Most Accurate Drive, and Longest Putt, will keep the competition exciting. SHDA National President Kerwin Padua emphasized that the format ensures the event remains accessible, engaging, and fair for participants of all abilities while fostering camaraderie within the housing industry.
Registration and partnerships
Full-package registration for the Golf Cup is ₱9,500 and includes green fees, caddie service, shared golf cart, breakfast, lunch, raffle entry, and giveaways. Non-golfing participants can join the luncheon and awards program for ₱4,500, also including entry to the grand raffle.
Key figures from the real estate industry, housing government agencies, and partner organizations are expected to attend the ceremonial tee-off, highlighting collaboration and partnerships that drive the housing sector.
