Luxury accommodations and curated experiences

The Cape Town EDITION will feature 142 guest rooms and suites, along with world-class dining experiences, including a signature rooftop bar. The property will include a spa, pool, meeting and event facilities, and thoughtfully curated social spaces reflecting the city’s rich heritage and cosmopolitan energy.

Plans also include The Residences at The Cape Town EDITION, with six private residences offering contemporary luxury and refined simplicity. These residences aim to set a new benchmark for luxury living in Cape Town.

Shanghai-based architectural firm Neri & Hu will design the hotel and residences in collaboration with local architects StudioMAS. The project promises a sophisticated and welcoming atmosphere that blends modern luxury with authentic local character.

Prime location at V&A Waterfront

David Green, CEO of the V&A Waterfront, said the project positions Cape Town among a select number of global markets with an EDITION Hotel. He noted that the hotel will provide guests access to luxury retail, fine dining, charter cruises, and other high-end experiences.

The property is located at the edge of the planned Granger Bay development at the V&A Waterfront, offering views of the Atlantic Ocean, the City Bowl, Table Mountain, Lion’s Head, and Signal Hill. The waterfront area includes attractions such as an amphitheatre, Battery Park, a world-class heliport, yacht berths, and an extensive dining and retail selection. A newly developed public promenade will provide direct access to the vibrant destination.
