Liquid Intelligent Technologies Zambia has launched its SME Portal to support small and medium-sized enterprises with digital solutions designed to strengthen their operations and help them thrive in the modern economy. Mwendamo Mazaba, Acting Chief Executive Officer of Liquid Intelligent Technologies Zambia, emphasized the goal of making technology accessible. “Our aim is to ensure every Zambian business, regardless of size, can take part in the digital economy. The SME Portal gives entrepreneurs control, saves time, and removes the complexity of managing technology,” Mazaba said. He added that the platform creates a flexible digital ecosystem that grows with businesses.

The launch comes as many SMEs across Zambia continue to face challenges in adopting modern tools. By offering a single platform that integrates essential services, Liquid Zambia is helping small businesses compete on equal footing in a fast-changing market.

Part of a broader digital strategy

The SME Portal is part of Liquid Zambia’s larger digital strategy. Recent initiatives include the launch of public Wi-Fi in Livingstone, expansion of the GPON network, the introduction of Azure Stack for affordable cloud solutions, and the opening of a Cyber Security Fusion Centre in 2023. The company also recently partnered with CNC360 Consulting to co-create digital solutions for SMEs and cooperatives.
