GENERATIONS from EXILE TRIBE and Da-iCE — known for their explosive performances and four-octave twin vocals — have released their first-ever collaboration, Grounds.

The idea sparked after their joint performance at a-nation 2024, where onstage chemistry was unmistakable. From there, Da-iCE’s Taiki Kudo and GENERATIONS’ Alan Shirahama teamed up to write and compose the song, with Shin Sakiura producing. Choreography for the track was created by Da-iCE’s Hayate Wada together with GENERATIONS’ Yuta Nakatsuka.

Heavy-hitting and emotional, Grounds captures the parallel journeys of two groups who have built their careers layer by layer, proving resilience and a hunger to keep moving forward. The fusion of Da-iCE’s harmonies and GENERATIONS’ dynamic range makes the track land harder — a celebration of perseverance and evolution.

Expect the collaboration to drive streaming spikes, cross-fan engagement, and shared live appearances as both groups push the single across Asia and beyond. Fans can look forward to staged performances that pair the song’s arena-ready production with the signature choreography crafted by Wada and Nakatsuka.

Song reflects resilience and evolution

Grounds leans into emotional dynamics: restrained verses give way to anthemic crescendos, allowing each group’s vocal identity to shine while building a unified chorus. Shin Sakiura’s production balances punchy beats and layered harmonies, framing the vocal interplay and supporting the choreography’s kinetic moments.

Milestone for J-pop and regional fans

More than a one-off duet, Grounds is a milestone collaboration that broadens both groups’ reach. By combining songwriting, production, and staged choreography, GENERATIONS and Da-iCE present a coordinated release designed to resonate with longtime supporters and attract new listeners across the region.
