Uratex and the Bonifacio Art Foundation, Inc. (BAFI) have renewed their partnership for another decade, marking a continued commitment to championing science, math, and the arts for learners of all ages. The collaboration builds on a shared mission of fostering innovation, inspired learning, and community engagement nationwide.

Uratex President and CEO Natividad Cheng expressed excitement for the renewed alliance, saying, “We, in Uratex, want to be able to reach as many Filipino communities as possible through the innovations that we do to improve Filipino lives. Since BAFI has music, math, and science programs and projects that are so engaging, and reaching out across our country as well, this made us really think it was a natural alliance.”

BAFI Managing Director and Curator Maria Isabel Garcia highlighted Uratex’s proactive involvement. “URATEX does not only support in terms of resources as a partner, they remain genuinely interested in what innovations we are doing in learning across the sciences and the arts. Their team always wants to figure out with us how they can make things better. That is a dream partner you want for a mission like this.”

Long-standing partnership brings iconic and new exhibits

Uratex retains naming rights to several of The Mind Museum’s most notable attractions, including the Space Shell Planetarium in the Universe Gallery, the Giant Orrery, and Dressed for Space. It will also hold naming rights to an upcoming math-themed exhibit in the museum’s Technology Gallery.

Beyond the museum walls, Uratex will be a Supporting Partner for a new traveling exhibition designed to inspire community-building through science, environment, and shared knowledge. This innovative display will travel across Luzon, Visayas, and Mindanao, representing stories of human cooperation and environmental harmony.

Expanding science access across the Philippines

The renewed partnership also supports the Mind Rover, The Mind Museum’s mobile science laboratory. Uratex will co-sponsor four Mind Rover sorties across Visayas and Mindanao, each reaching up to 1,000 public school students with hands-on science learning experiences.

In addition, Uratex will be a Supporting Partner of the Pinoy Playlist Music Festival 2025, an annual celebration that brings together Filipino music legends and rising talents in cross-genre performances, workshops, and artisan showcases.

With this decade-long renewal, BAFI and Uratex continue to inspire wonder, nurture learning, and connect communities through world-class science and arts programs.
