MPT South achieves 5 Million safe man-hours without lost-time injury

MPT South, the concessionaire of Manila-Cavite Expressway (CAVITEX) and Cavite-Laguna Expressway (CALAX), has reached a major milestone in workplace safety—5 million safe man-hours without a lost-time injury (LTI).

This achievement follows the company’s triple ISO certification, which includes ISO 9001 (Quality Management), ISO 14001 (Environmental Management), and ISO 45001 (Occupational Health and Safety). It underscores MPT South’s dedication to maintaining the highest safety standards, ensuring employee well-being, and fostering a sustainable work environment.

Commitment to Safety and Road Awareness

MPT South has consistently implemented rigorous safety programs for its workforce, ensuring that employees operate in a safe and secure environment. One of its key initiatives is educating employees to become road safety advocates.

Recently, MPT South employees participated in the Drayberks Road Safety session, conducted in partnership with Cavite State University. This session covered road safety best practices, defensive driving, and expressway safety guidelines.

Beyond its employees, MPT South extends this advocacy to motorists, community partners, and government stakeholders, reinforcing road safety awareness and accident prevention measures.
