Engineering Congress 2024: Flowing Towards Innovation and Excellence
For the past 23 years, the Civil engineering Executive Organization (CEO) has been providing aspiring civil engineering students a platform for deeper appreciation of civil engineering and other related fields. With the goal of promoting academic and professional proficiency, the organization brings you its 19th installment of the Engineering Congress.
Engineering Congress is a two-day annual national engineering event that features both the Engineering Seminar and the Executives’ Challenge. For this year’s installment, the event will be held on March 23-24, 2024, at the University of the Philippines – Los Baños.
This year, the Engineering Seminar returns to its physical setup after being constrained due to the pandemic and years of online presence. With the theme “Flowing Forward: Forging a Path towards an Integrated Sanitary and Water Resources Management through Regenerative Hydrological Engineering Strategies”, the CEO strives to provide an engaging presentation focusing on the fundamental concerns regarding global freshwater reserves, safety, and wastewater management. Alongside the Engineering Seminar is the Executives’ Challenge, a national intercollegiate engineering science quiz contest that serves as an avenue to foster healthy competition among aspiring young civil engineering students.
Prizes of PHP 50,000 await future engineers who show their knowledge of the foundation of engineering. Furthermore, the first and second-runner ups will receive PHP 20,000 and PHP 10,000, respectively. Every team that will progress to the final round will also receive Certificates of Recognition.
Together with the 64 participating teams for the Executives’ Challenge and over 1000 participants in the Engineering Seminar, the Civil engineering Executive Organization invites you to be part of the Engineering Congress 2024.
