WASHINGTON – Hundreds of immigrants on Thursday (Oct. 7) demanded that the Joe Biden administration deliver a pathway to citizenship for millions.
In a gathering in front of the White House, demonstrators carrying “Citizenship Now,” “Do your jobs” and “No excuses” placards, want Biden and Vice President Kamala Harris to hear their stories and demands.
“We need citizenship now!” chanted the crowd that was in mostly orange T-shirts.
Speaking at a stage at the demonstration area, one protestor said he voted Biden and Harris into office.
“They have to stand by their promise and do what is right for the people that have elected them,” he said.
Another placard opened in front of the White House read: “Hey Democrats, Citizenship Now.”
