NBA: De’Aaron Fox’s 39 not enough for DeRozan, Spurs [VIDEO]
The San Antonio Spurs picked up their 1st victory in 142 days, beating the Sacramento Kings, 129-120.
DeMar DeRozan had 27 points and 10 assists, while Derrick White added 26 points, 8 rebounds, and 5 assists.
Off the bench, Rudy Gay contributed 19 points.
The Spurs’ team effort was enough to eclipse a 39-point night from the Kings’ De’Aaron Fox.
Bogdan Bogdanovic also scored 24 points for Sacramento.
The win, coupled by a Memphis Grizzlies loss to the Portland Trail Blazers the same night, puts the Spurs closer to the 8th seed and a chance to make the playoffs.
