Kobe Bryant had a birthday gift ready for his wife Vanessa even before he passed away tragically in late January this year.
Vanessa, who celebrated her 38th birthday on May 5th, posted on her Instagram account a letter saved to her by Kobe several months ago, showing how a great gentleman the late NBA superstar was.
Vanessa’s post read: “Yesterday I found an envelope labeled To: The Love of my Life. From, Tu Papi. I waited to open one more letter on my birthday. It gave me something to look forward to today. The irony is that Kobe had a photo of me drawn with an Angel holding me up by an artist on the cover. Missing the Love of my Life and my sweet little Mamacita—my fellow Taurus. Grateful to wake up to my 3 sweet girls today. Wish we were all together. #MyBirthdayWish.”
Many influential stars in both the sports and showbiz industries greeted Vanessa on her birthday.
Just a few days ago, it was also what should have been the 14th birthday of Vanessa’s late daughter Gianna. The two share the same zodiac sign.
