NBA trade: Clippers acquire Marcus Morris from Knicks, Isaiah Thomas from Wizards
The Los Angeles Clippers have acquired the services of power forward Marcus Morris from the New York Knicks and Isaiah Thomas from the Washington Wizards less than an hour before the 2020 NBA trade deadline Thursday.
The Athletic’s Shams Charania reported the development 1st, stating that Morris was on his way to the Clippers in exchange for Moe Harkless.

ESPN’s Adrian Wojnarowski later reported that it was apparently a 3-team deal involving the Washington Wizards, with point guard Isaiah Thomas also joining the Clippers, while Jerome Robinson headed to the Wizards.
The Clippers, Knicks and Wizards have agreed to a three-team trade that will land Marcus Morris and Isaiah Thomas with the Clippers, league sources tell ESPN. Jerome Robinson will join the Wizards, Moe Harkless and a 2020 first-round pick to the Knicks.

Morris has enjoyed a career season with the Knicks, starting in all 43 games while averaging a career-high 19.6 PPG. He is also shooting a career-high 43.6% from 3-point land on 6.1 attempts per game.
Reportedly, the Knicks 1st inquired about the availability of Los Angeles Lakers’ Kyle Kuzma, but the Lakers didn’t seem to be interested in letting go of the young forward.
