NBA Trade Rumors: Are Minnesota Timberwolves willing to sacrifice picks for D’Angelo Russell?
Are the Minnesota Timberwolves willing to pay a high price to acquire the services of Golden State Warrior guard D’Angelo Russell?
The Wolves have been pursuing the all-star guard since the offseason. Russell, of course, eventually signed with the Warriors, creating a dangerous backcourt troika along with Stephen Curry and Klay Thompson.
But according to The Athletic, the Warriors will only be interested in trading Russell if there is a great package which includes many draft picks.
The Knicks have registered interest in D'Angelo Russell and discussed potential packages. https://t.co/U1E4VkINOd

CBS Sports also reported that Russell and Wolves star Karl-Anthony Towns have a good relationship, and they would like to play alongside each other.
Russell’s full worth and potential impact with the Warriors have not yet been seen though, since the Warriors have dealt with significant injuries to Thompson and Curry throughout the season.
