PBA: Standhardinger Best Player, Durham Best Import in Govs Cup
Northport Batang Pier big man Christian Standhardinger won the 2019 PBA Governors’ Cup Best Player of the Conference, adding a major accolade to his basketball resume.

The 6-foot-8 slotman helped the Batang Pier reach the semi-finals of the conference, as they upset the top-seeded Road Warriors as the no. 8 seed.
Meanwhile, Meralco Bolts import Allen Durham was once again hailed as Best Import of the Conference, besting arch-nemesis Justin Brownlee of Barangay Ginebra for the distinction.
With monster numbers this conference, Durham led the Bolts to the 2nd overall seed after the eliminations, before the squad edged the KaTropa for another finals berth.
