PBA: Arwind Santos reportedly returning to San Miguel practice
Suspended veteran forward Arwind Santos is set to return to San Miguel Beermen’s activities, according to a local news source.
The 6-foot-4 Santos was suspended following an altercation with then Beermen import Dez Wells in one of the team’s scrimmage sessions last year.
Ronald Tubid and Kelly Nabong were also suspended for their roles in the scuffle.
It happened while the PBA Governors’ Cup was on-going. In the process, the Beermen lost in the quarter-finals to eventual finalist Barangay Ginebra, ending their hopes of a grand slam season.
According to Spin.ph, Santos will soon be joining San Miguel practices again.
However, Nabong and Tubid will have to wait on the decision of San Miguel’s management regarding their immediate futures.
