Blatche, Sotto to join forces for Mighty Sports in Dubai tilt
Gilas Pilipinas veteran big man Andray Blatche and young star Kai Sotto will headline the Mighty Sports club roster for the upcoming 2020 Dubai International Basketball Tournament next year.
It will be the 1st time Blatche, the naturalized big man, and Sotto, the 7-foot-2 teenage sensation who is trying to make it to the NBA, will team up for one squad.
The upcoming tournament will be a good glimpse of how far Sotto has reached since training overseas. It will also be a mentorship role for Blatche.
Mighty Sports will also be flanked by Juan and Javi Gomez De Liano, Mikey Williams, and Dave Ildefonso, per ESPN5.
Sotto is no stranger to international competition, having competed in the FIBA U19 World Cup, but this will be a chance to pit him against more experienced pro players.
