SEA Games: Newsome, Perez, Perkins, Tautuaa in 3×3 final roster
Chris Newsome, CJ Perez, Jason Perkins, and Moala Tautuaa will make up the Philippines roster for the 2019 Southeast Asian Games 3×3 competitions here.
All 4 players will have the opportunity to secure a gold medal for their country for the 1st time.
Among the 4, Tautuaa and Perez have more Gilas experience in the 5 on 5 game.
Tautuaa was part of the silver-medal winning Jones Cup Gilas team in 2015 though he has not represented the squad that much because of his non-local status.
Perez was part of the Gilas cadets before eventually becoming a FIBA World Cup participant.
The roster features a lot of versatility, length, floor-spacing and driving ability.
It will be the 1st time 3×3, now an Olympic sport, will be played in the SEA Games.
