PBA: TNT acquires DiGregorio from Blackwater for Heruela
PBA Governors’ Cup league leaders TNT KaTropa fortified their backcourt rotation after acquiring sharpshooter Mike DiGregorio from the Blackwater Elite on Saturday.
Back-up point guard Brian Heruela was shipped to the Elite in return to complete the mid-conference trade.
DiGregorio has established himself as one of the better backcourt generals for the Elite prior to the trade. He norms 10.8 PPG in over 18 minutes of play per ball game while shooting a pristine 65% from 3-point range.
On the other hand, Heruela, who started his career with the Elite, has played only 2 games in the conference.
DiGregorio will join a loaded backcourt rotation under TNT which features Jayson Castro, Ryan Reyes, and Almond Vosotros as the undefeated KaTropa continue their title drive.
