Experience the thrill of gaming at the Taiwan Excellence 2019 Esports Cup Finals
After picking out its 32 semi-finalist teams from the nationwide elimination rounds last July and August, the 2019 Taiwan Excellence Esports Cup is now gearing up for the grand finals happening on October 4-6, 2019, at the SM City North EDSA The Block Atrium in Quezon City.
The three-day event will see exciting battles between top-caliber eSports teams compete in the Counter-Strike: Global Offensive (CS:GO) Tournament on October 4 (Friday) and the League of Legends (LoL) Tournament on October 5 (Saturday). There will also be a grand Cosplay Competition happening on October 6 (Sunday).
Out of more than 2,000 players who registered for the nationwide eliminations, the 16 teams competing for CS:GO Online Interbranch Semi-Finals happening on September 14 (for CS:GO) are as follows:

Sponsored by the Bureau of Foreign Trade (BOFT), established by the Ministry of Economic Affairs (MOEA) and organized by the Taiwan External Trade Development Council (TAITRA), the 2019 Taiwan Excellence Esports Cup now boasts a PHP 430,000 prize pool — a huge jump from the initial amount of P395,000, which was first announced in June.
Aside from the cash prize, the winning team in the CS:GO tournament will have the honor of representing the Philippines in an upcoming international competition, which will take place in Taiwan. The team will be competing against their counterparts from Taiwan, Malaysia, Thailand, and India.
Adding to the festivities of the 2019 Taiwan Excellence Esports Cup, actress and cosplayer Myrtle Sarrosa will be making an appearance at the event on October 4, while musician, gamer, and seasoned cosplayer Ashley Gosiengfiao will be joining the fun on October 5.
