PBA: Arwind Santos learns valuable lessons from Comms Cup Finals series
San Miguel forward Arwind Santos may have gotten the center of attention for recent racist gestures he’s made directed towards TNT KaTropa import Terrence Jones, but he’s glad that the PBA Commissioner’s Cup is finally over and that the Beermen have won another trophy.
Santos made sure to right his wrongdoings quickly, approaching Jones personally before Game 6 tipped off and also posting a video on social media where he owed up to his mistake.
While being able to celebrate still with the Beermen, which won 102-90 in Game 6, Santos also took the time to further discuss what has been a whirlwind of a past few days for him.
Minsan, kailangang kung mataas ka, kailangan mo bumaba para sa mga ganoong sitwasyon,” said Santos, who was also thankful for those who stuck by his side.
The former PBA MVP also added he believes everyone has a heart and room forgiveness.
Asked about the championship they just won, Santos said it wasn’t an easy path, but because of the strong bond the Beermen members have forged througout the years, they were able to overcome adversity yet again.
Samahang walang katulad, kaya yung mahihirap na bagay, nakukuha namin,” he shared.
Santos also mentioned that he didn’t mind his minutes taking a dip once again, as sacrifice is something the Beermen has always been known for.
