Team “Flash” will be moving forward less one key character with Wally West/ Kid Flash (Keiynan Lonsdale) baring plans to leave Central City. With Barry Allen (Grant Gustin) returning, the young speedster wants to find his true calling – both as a superhero and as a civilian.

The unexpected announcement comes as a shocker though a potential move that could benefit another shot – “DC’s Legends of Tomorrow.” As previously reported on Blasting News, there is a possibility that Wally may end up joining the time travelers with one (or two?) of their main members leaving.

Kid Flash replacing Firestorm?

Dr. Martin Stein (Victor Garber) is allegedly on his way out which means Firestorm may be following as well. It also begs to ask the fate of the other half of the DC Hero, Jefferson Jackson (Franz Drameh). Obviously, it makes no sense to keep him on the show if his better half will no longer be seen.

Hence, a vacancy is open and Kid Flash could be a suitable addition. Nothing is official even if there was that scene during the first episode of season 3 of “DC’s Legends of Tomorrow.” This was the scene where he was working alongside Citizen Steel (Nick Zanos), an aftermath of the season 2 finale mess.

Kid Flash returning to Blue Valley

In the final scene of “Flash,” Wally mentioned something about heading back to Blue Valley to stay with a friend. According to Screen Rant, Blue Valley, Nebraska is actually the hometown of Wally West where he lived with parents, Mary and Rudy West.

Obviously, “Flash” showrunners have flipped the script with Wally being cast as the son of Joe West (Jesse L. Martin). So who is this friend?

There is a chance that it may be Citizen Steele/ Nathan Heywood which explains why the two were working together in the pilot episode of “DC’s Legends of Tomorrow” season 3. The succeeding episodes hardly emphasized on that sequence but the team could always return to Blue Valley and pick up Wally.

If that is the sign of things to come, Wally may find his true role with the Legends. Could this be the future of Kid Flash?

Will Wally West/ Kid Flash move to “Legends of Tomorrow”?
