Fashion Correspondent Stefanie R. Jones conquers Vancouver Fashion Week with Fashion PR maven Courtney Blackman

It will be raining fashion in “Raincouver” as Fashion One –– the leading New York based international fashion, entertainment and lifestyle network –– goes to Vancouver on its longest-running travelogue series, Stefanie’s Style Diaries. Fashion correspondent, Stefanie Rycraft Jones, is back and this time Forward P.R. founder, Courtney Blackman, joins her as they pave across the city’s hustle and bustle in time for Vancouver Fashion Week.

Let Stefanie and Courtney take you to the best fashion hotspots the city has to offer. From mixing your own drinks at the trendy Juniper Bar, an exclusive dining and shopping experience at Secret Location, and to an exclusive river cruise sailing all the way to the runways of the featured local and international designers, there is so much in store on this 2 part original series.

Popularly known as the, ‘City of Diversity,’ Vancouver has always been ranked as one of the best world cities. This coastal area is a melting pot of different cultures coming not just from Europe and the Americas, but also from East Asia. From fashion, food, and entertainment, influences from these places are being integrated and have found their home in the region.

“Vancouver, due to its geographical position, is close to China, Japan, Korea etc., so it’s considered as the gateway market,” boasts Courtney. “It is very influential for designers showcasing here if they want to get into the market because there will be a lot of buyers and press coming here due to the huge emerging luxury market.”

Stefanie adds, “With the different cultures colliding, you could spot the different trends quickly.”

Catch the premiere of Stefanie’s Style Diaries: Vancouver on Wednesday, May 17 & 24 at 20:30 (GMT+8) for Asia, only on Fashion One. Check your cable operator for your local TV channel listings.
