LG Watch Latest News & Update: Android Wear 2.0 Starts Rolling Out For Three Smartwatches

Three LG smartwatches – G Watch R, Watch Urbane and Watch Urbane 2nd Edition – are getting the update to Google’s latest smartwatch OS, Android Wear 2.0. Android Wear 2.0 is rolling out for the LG G Watch R and LG Watch Urbane from last week. The Watch Urbane 2nd Edition will be updated by the beginning of May.

All three wearable devices will come with a pre-installed Android Wear 2.0 App store, allowing them to download apps directly from the on-watch Google Play Store. Also, these devices will have new OS features like an improved user interface, enhanced messaging, and the built-in Google Assistant.

Android Pay will be supported on Watch Urbane 2nd Edition, the only device to have NFC technology of the three smartwatches.
