Angelina Jolie Said Brad Pitt Will ‘Always Be Family’ Despite Their Divorce
Angelina Jolie is speaking up about her difficult divorce with Brad Pitt, the father of her six kids. The actress, who is promoting her latest project, the Netflix movie “First They Killed My Father,” expressed that Pitt will always be family despite their divorce.
Jolie admitted that the divorce isn’t easy for everyone. In Sept. 2016, the actress announced that she and her partner of 12 years, two of which was their marriage, were divorcing.
“It was a very difficult time and we are a family and we will always be a family, and we will get through this time and hopefully be a stronger family for it,” Jolie said, according to People.
Jolie said that their situation is not different from other families going through a divorce. “I am coping with finding a way through to make sure that this somehow makes us stronger and closer,” the actress said.
To cope with the divorce, Jolie has been trying her best to keep things normal with the children. Aside from the six kids, Jolie has been taking care of two dogs, two hamsters and two children at the moment. It’s wonderful,” the actress said. “But, usually, I just wake up trying to figure out who’s going to get [the] dog out, who’s going to start the pancakes and did anybody brush their teeth.”
