300 New Platinum Tickets available for HSBC Singapore Rugby Sevens
SINGAPORE, 8 Feb 2017 – Rugby Singapore announced today that they are releasing 300 new Platinum tickets for the 2017 HSBC Singapore Rugby 7s on 15-16 April at the National Stadium.
Platinum tickets had sold out a couple of weeks back, and Rugby Singapore have since faced huge demand, based on numerous phone calls, in the week following the Lunar New Year.
Platinum tickets are priced at S$300 per person for two days, and come with special accreditation, a free 70-page tournament booklet, plus limited alcoholic drinks, two buffet meals and snacks from the dedicated Platinum Bar. Ticket holders also have access to the After Party at Clarke Quay on both nights. The new tickets go on sale immediately and are strictly limited till stocks last.
“In response to a massive demand for these tickets, we have been able to demarcate an additional zone at the National Stadium where we can seat just 300 more Platinum ticketholders,” said Low Teo Ping, Chairman of Rugby Singapore. “These seats offer a superb view of the rugby and we’ve laid on a bit of impressive F&B to go with it.”
Mr Low also added: “With a little over two months to go till rugby fever hits Singapore, more than half the available 29,000 tickets are booked. As much as that comes as great news for us, we can still tailor supply of particular types of ticket that are in considerable demand.”
The 2017 HSBC Singapore Rugby 7s promises to ROCK, RUCK and RUMBLE the iconic arena for two days this Easter, with sixteen of the world’s best rugby sevens teams, always-on live entertainment, top-notch cuisine, interactive games for the whole family and tantalising prizes on the menu.
Fans are encouraged to arrive in fancy dress, “show your colours” in support of their favourite teams and get immersed in the technicolour spectacle of the year’s most anticipated sporting event.
