‘Supergirl’ Star Melissa Benoist Divorces Husband Blake Jenner

After four years of marriage, “Supergirl” Melissa Benoist has filed for divorce from her husband Blake Jenner. The two met on the set of “Glee” and the actress has once said he’s her favorite scene partner.

But according to court documents, Melissa Benoist has claimed “irreconcilable differences” as the reason for the split. The couple have no children together.

After “Glee,” Melissa Benoist’s career kicked off as she made movies that received critical praise or with big-named stars. Then she got her big break starring in the “Supergirl” TV series. The show is currently a big hit on The CW alongside the other DC TV adaptations like “The Flash” and “Arrow.”

During “Supergirl’s” first season, Blake Jenner guest starred as Calista Flockhart’s Cat Grant’s son, Adam. “We only have fun working together,” Melissa Benoist told People about working with her husband.

The couple has lead such a private life and romance that back in September, it were all smiles as Melissa and Blake attended the Toronto Film Festival to promote his movie “The Edge of Seventeen.”

Melissa is 28 and Blake is 24. The divorce claims no spousal support from either party, according to TMZ.
