Rumer Willis is joining the Fox musical drama “Empire.” The actress, who belongs to a Hollywood family, is going to test her acting chops as the new addition Tory Ash.

She will play a singer and songwriter who will work alongside Jamal (Jussie Smollett). As Tory Ash, her character is supposed to be making a comeback with Jamal’s help, but it will be riddled conflicts and struggles as expected of an “Empire” drama storyline.

The eldest daughter of Bruce Willis and Demi Moore, Rumer Willis does sing in real-life and was also a contestant and winner of “Dancing With The Stars” on ABC. Rumer has shown her inclination for acting just like her parents early on. She was in cast of “Now and Then” and “Striptease” – her mother’s movie from the 1990s. She has also guest starred on TV shows like “Hawaii Five-O” and “CSI.”
