Netflix is adapting Lemony Snicket’s “A Series of Unfortunate Events” as a series. The first season, which will span eight episodes, will be launched on the streaming site on Friday, Jan. 13, 2017. Heading the cast is Neil Patrick Harris as Count Olaf.
