David Spade Tapped as Roast Master for the ‘Comedy Central Roast of Rob Lowe’

SINGAPORE, 26 JULY 2016 – Comedy Central announced today that comedian and actor David Spade has been named Roast Master for the Comedy Central Roast of Rob Lowe. The event (#LoweRoast) will tape at Sony Studios in California, U.S. on Saturday, 27 August and premiere in Asia on Saturday, 10 September at 8pm (TH/WIB), 9pm (HK/PH/SG/TW) and 10pm (MY).
“Comedy Central asked a bunch of ugly guys to make fun of a good looking guy. I said yes right away. Then I realized I wasn’t the good looking guy,” said Spade.
The Comedy Central Roast Of Rob Lowe will be executive produced by Joel Gallen from Tenth Planet Productions, who also served as Executive Producer and Director of the Comedy Central Roasts of Justin Bieber, James Franco, Charlie Sheen, and Donald Trump, as well as the Emmy-nominated Comedy Central Roast of William Shatner. Jonas Larsen is the Executive Producer for Comedy Central.
