“Sleepy Hollow” on Fox is losing two other cast members. Lance Gross and Jessica Camacho are reportedly not committed as series regulars when the show returns for Season 4. One of them is actually not coming back permanently.
Entertainment Weekly reports that Camacho, who is investigator Sophie Foster, and Gross, who plays Daniel Reynolds, Abbie Mills’ former sweetheart, are not going to be back next season. However, Camacho could still appear as guest, who could give Ichabod Crane (Tom Mison) leads to solving the supernatural world.
TV Line reports that “Sleepy Hollow” is going through a lot of changes, which is why these characters have been written off the story. The changes spring from the departure of its lead actress Nichole Beharie, who has been wanting to get out of her commitments from the series.
However, the show is also adding a few new characters into when it returns, including a new villain. Mison as Ichabod Crane is expected to be working with a new team, with a potential for a female partner to fill Abbie Mills’ shoes.
It’s still not certain how fans are going to process these changes. Will they stick around to watch more of “Sleepy Hollow” or give up on the series altogether? Are you still going to watch the show when it’s back on?
