So, it has come to pass and the prophecy has happened. Jon Snow’s fate has been sealed in the second episode of “Game of Thrones.” As many have guessed, he was revived from death through the mystical power of Melisandre.

Melisandre didn’t know that she was capable of it, but viewers of “Game of Thrones” Season 6 Episode 2 have long speculated that she was going to be instrumental to the character’s resurrection. Now, the actor who plays Jon Snow, Kit Harrington has confessed to lying to viewers this whole time and he’s saying he’s sorry. Since the end of the show last season, Harrington professed that his character was really, really dead.

“I’d like to say sorry for lying to everyone. I’m glad that people were upset that he died,” said Harrington via Entertainment Weekly . He didn’t explain the ruse and he didn’t need to because that’s how the show operates. “I think my biggest fear was that people were not going to care. Or it would just be, ‘Fine, Jon Snow’s dead.’ But it seems like people had a, similar to the Red Wedding episode, kind of grief about it. Which means something I’m doing — or the show is doing — is right.”

Twitter couldn’t handle it after watching Melisandre do her magic and Jon Snow opened his eyes. Below were some of the craziest reactions:
