‘Grey’s Anatomy’ Is Losing Another Cast? Sara Ramirez Tweets Thanks To Show
Is Sara Ramirez leaving “Grey’s Anatomy”? While there has been no official word from ABC or the production, the actres might have already jumped by the gun by making an announcement on social media.
On Thursday, April 28, Ramirez posted the following message on her Twitter : “That’s a wrap for Doctor #CallieTorres #Season13 #GreysAnatomy #ThankYou all for an enriching & unforgettable #Rollercoaster ride!” Fans then proceeded to send the actress messages asking if her character on the “Grey’s Anatomy,” Callie Torres, is going to die. But the actress hasn’t responded yet.

News of Ramirez leaving “Grey’s Anatomy” had been brewing for weeks now as her character has been embroiled in a custody battle with her on-screen partner, Arizona (Jessica Capshaw). Callie Torres had been wanting to bring their daughter to New York. She has already expressed that she’s leaving the hospital in the last episode, according to TV Guide. It looks like with the tweet, she’s leaving the show, and not just the hospital for good.
Actors do come and go on the show, but for Ramirez, who has been with the series for 10 years, it might be a big blow for fans to watch one of the more familiar characters saying goodbye again. Last year, Patrick Dempsey also left the show, when he was the lead star viz-a-viz Ellen Pompeo’s Meredith Grey.
