Pamela Anderson To Appear In ‘Baywatch’ Movie With Dwayne Johnson, Zac Efron

An original “Baywatch” babe is going to be in the “Baywatch” movie with Dwayne Johnson and Zac Efron. Pamela Anderson, who became popular on the television show as one of the lifeguards, will be in the movie version. Dwayne Johnson confirmed this on his Instagram.

The actor shared the photo on himself with Pamela Anderson on the social site. “She introduced the world to “CJ Parker” and became one of the most iconic characters of a generation – for the most successful TV show of all time,” Dwayne Johnson wrote.  “A pleasure to welcome (as gorgeous as ever) Pamela Anderson to our #BAYWATCH cast. We couldn’t have made this movie without you. Welcome home. Thrilled you had a blast with us!”

Pamela Anderson joined “Baywatch” on television in 1992, but she will not be playing the same role in the movie version, per Variety. Her co-star, David Hasselhoff, has already filmed his cameo for the “Baywatch” movie earlier. The plot to the adaptation remains a secret, but earlier screenings have revealed that the film is partly a comedy.

“Baywatch” will also star  Alexandra Daddario, Priyanka Chopra and Ilfenesh Hadera. The movie is set to be in theaters in the summer of 2017.
