Super Bowl 50: Lady Gaga to Sing National Anthem [WATCH VIDEO]
Lady Gaga is singing the National Anthem at this year’s Super Bowl and she said that it’s a “dream come true” for her.
“I’ve always wanted to sing the National Anthem at a major sporting event since I was a little girl,” the singer said via Billboard. “This is one of the highest honors of my career,” she added.
Lady Gaga also talked about how she will tackle the song. “I think the best way to do that is kind of forget about yourself and just focus on what it means. … I’m really singing it from the heart and I’m also singing it really very true to the way that it was written, because I think that’s when it sounds its most majestic.”
However, while she’s singing at a huge sporting event, The 29-year-old star said she’s not particularly rooting for any team and is more interested about seeing a throw down happen.
Meanwhile, Daily Mail reported that along with Coldplay and Beyonce, Bruno Mars is also going to be at the Super Bowl 50 halftime show.
