Drake Bell Arrested: Actor Charged With DUI

Former Nickelodeon star Drake Bell was arrested by cops Monday after he failed a sobriety test.

The actor was reportedly driving in Glendale, CA when police saw that he was swerving his car and exceeding the speed limit. TMZ reported that he also made an abrupt stop at a red light prompting officers to flag him down.

According to Entertainment Weekly, the incident happened after two in the morning and when Drake stepped out of his car, police could smell alcohol on him.

The reports also stated that the actor was in custody for 10 hours before the police released him after paying bail. His case will be presented at the Los Angeles County District Attorney’s office. No further details have been revealed.

Drake starred in the Nickelodeon series “Drake & Josh” during his teens. The actor is also a musician and is currently doing tours. He’s set to do a series of shows in Mexico by February 2016.
