‘Hawaii Five-0’ Update: ‘Jurassic World’ Star Chris Pratt Wants to Guest Star in CBS TV Series
No one is having a grander time this week than “Jurassic World” lead star Chris Pratt. His movie, which opened this weekend, has just broken box-office records, according to various news outlets and critics have been giving it good reviews. But despite the huge success, the actor reveals that he’s aiming and open to be on a television show.
Speaking before the press, Pratt said that he really enjoyed filming on location in Hawaii and it was his favorite part of doing “Jurassic World,” as he got to be with his family. He said that it gave him an idea to be on “Hawaii Five-0,” the TV show on CBS that stars Alex O’ Loughlin.
He said he got to enjoy “swimming, surfing and fishing, and doing runs and hikes all around there and then going to work in Hawaii,” according to The Spec “I want see if I can get a role on ‘Hawaii Five-0’ or something. If I could live there and work, I would.”
Pratt, who is married to “Mom” TV star Anna Faris, with whom he has a two-year-old boy named Jack, has also just confirmed that he is set to return for the sequel to “Jurassic World,” according to Hollywood Life. But while the location for the next movie hasn’t been confirmed, he kids that the studio has planned 38 sequels for him next.
Vanity Fair, however, reports that he is signed for two more Jurassic films. Will he be able to squeeze time to guest star on “Hawaii Five-O” perhaps?
With a budget of $150 million, “Jurassic World” raked in $204.596 million in its weekend debut and the numbers are still rising. It is the second highest grossing movie opening, following “The Avengers,” which ran in theaters a few years ago.
