‘The Flash’ Actor Rick Cosnett Moves On In New Series ‘Quantico’ To Play Gay FBI Analyst [WATCH TEASER]

400px-Rick_Cosnett_at_2015_PaleyFest After being killed off in the first season of “The Flash,” actor Rick Cosnett is heading to the new ABC series “Quantico” to play the role of Elias Harper.

The character is described as a “very funny,” “kind-heated” and “openly gay” individual and the gig is a recurring role for the actor, according to TV Line.

The actor left “The Flash” for personal reasons as revealed during the Comic Con panel.

The show is about a special group of recruits who arrive at the FBI case to get training. One of them being the mastermind in the biggest terrorist attack in the United States after 9/11

The series stars Bollywood actress Priyanka Chopra as Mary Kom, who leads a group of the brightest and the “most vetted” and promising FBI agents, according to Entertainment Weekly.

Other actors already cast on the show include Jake McLaughlin (Believe), Josh Hopkins (Cougar Town), Yasmine Al Massri (Crossbones), Johanna Braddy (UnREAL), Tate Ellington (The Mindy Project) and Graham Rogers (Revolution).

“Quantico” will premiere on ABC on Sept. 27. The series is executive produced by Joshua Safran, Mark Gordon, Nicholas Pepper, Jake Coburn and Robert Sertner and the script to the pilot was penned by Josh Safran who worked on “Gossip Girl.”
