Ministry of Sound continues its 35th Anniversary World Tour this June with two Thailand dates, bringing the long-running global celebration to Phuket and Koh Samui. The tour arrives at Illuzion Phuket on June 26, before moving to CLUB SEEN Koh Samui on June 27, where the second event will take place in an open-air beachfront setting.

The Thailand shows will feature a lineup headlined by Darius Syrossian, founder of Moxy Muzik, alongside Italian house mainstay Riva Starr, head of Snatch! Records. Jesse P completes the lineup for both dates. The events form part of Ministry of Sound’s wider Asia-Pacific schedule within its year-long anniversary tour.

Thailand shows at Illuzion Phuket and CLUB SEEN Koh Samui

The first Thailand stop takes place at Illuzion Phuket, a venue that has become one of Asia’s most prominent large-scale nightlife destinations. Ranked No. 9 in DJ Mag’s Top 100 Clubs poll, Illuzion Phuket has a capacity of 5,000 and is located at the centre of Patong’s Bangla Road nightlife district. The venue is known for its multi-room layout, high-spec Funktion-One and L-Acoustics sound systems, and international programming that regularly features leading names from the global electronic music scene.

The second show moves to CLUB SEEN Koh Samui, a retro-inspired beachfront venue located on Chaweng Beach. The venue has established a reputation for its day-to-night format, combining poolside sessions, sunset programming, and international guest DJs in an open-air shoreline setting. The Koh Samui date provides a contrasting environment to the Phuket show, emphasizing an outdoor, beach-focused experience as part of the tour’s Southeast Asia run.

The Thailand dates follow Ministry of Sound’s recently announced Bali residency at The Stage Seminyak, which will host the same trio on June 25. That event directly precedes the Thailand shows, linking Bali, Phuket, and Koh Samui as consecutive stops on the Asia-Pacific leg of the anniversary tour.

Part of a wider 35th Anniversary World Tour

The Thailand shows are part of the Ministry of Sound 35th Anniversary World Tour, a global celebration marking 35 years of the iconic UK club brand. The year-long tour is set to span six continents and 35 cities, bringing Ministry of Sound’s signature sound, artists, and production to a mix of established clubs and open-air venues worldwide.

Commenting on the Asia leg of the tour, Jared McCulloch, Head of Live Events at Ministry of Sound, said the region has long been one of the most exciting areas for electronic music culture. He described the run from Bali to Phuket and Koh Samui as a significant moment for the brand, highlighting the opportunity to bring Ministry of Sound’s energy, heritage, and global identity into some of the region’s most recognised nightlife destinations.

McCulloch added that the events are intended to be part of a wider movement celebrating 35 years of Ministry of Sound, combining forward-thinking lineups, high production standards, and a strong focus on the dancefloor experience. Conceived as a travelling showcase of global club culture, the tour brings together headline DJs, emerging talent, and local scenes under the Ministry of Sound ethos of high-impact sound and uncompromising club energy.
