Built on the iconic J-200 Studio EC Super Jumbo platform, the new signature model blends Lee’s distinctive artistry with stage-focused functionality, offering players an accessible entry into the Inspired by Gibson acoustic lineup.

Signature model debuts

The LSY-200 Studio EC features a Super Jumbo cutaway body crafted with a solid spruce top and layered maple body finished in Antique Natural gloss, combining traditional acoustic power with modern visual sophistication. Its mahogany neck, shaped to a 1960s SlimTaper D profile, is paired with a rosewood fingerboard featuring classic J-200 pearloid crown inlays.

Personalized design elements further distinguish the model, including a custom artist-designed pickguard with gold artwork, a custom truss rod cover, and Lee Seung Yoon’s signature silk-screened discreetly on the rear of the headstock. Premium gold Grover Rotomatic tuners and gold hardware complete the upscale presentation.

For live and studio performance, the guitar is equipped with Fishman S-Core pickup technology and Presys II electronics, ensuring reliable amplified sound for concerts, recording sessions, and songwriting applications. A premium gig bag is also included for added portability.

Artist milestone grows

Lee Seung Yoon’s partnership with Epiphone reflects his growing global influence as one of South Korea’s most dynamic contemporary musicians. Since rising to national prominence through JTBC’s Sing Again victory in 2021, Lee has built an international reputation through emotionally resonant songwriting, genre-blending musicality, and commanding live performances.

The LSY-200 Studio EC not only celebrates Lee’s musical journey but also strengthens Epiphone’s connection to Asia’s expanding contemporary music scene.
