GSIS marks 25 years of Kidapawan branch with stakeholder dialogue
The Government Service Insurance System (GSIS) marked the 25th anniversary of its Kidapawan Branch with a stakeholder dialogue on Wednesday, reinforcing its practice of direct engagement with members in North Cotabato.
Held at Sudapin Coffee, the dialogue gathered representatives from local government agencies, the education sector, and media to discuss GSIS programs, benefits, and ongoing improvements in service delivery for government employees and pensioners.
GSIS President and General Manager Wick Veloso said listening to members remains a key part of strengthening the agency’s programs and services. He stressed that open dialogue helps ensure GSIS remains a reliable partner to public servants.
The event formed part of GSIS’ continuing consultations with stakeholders nationwide to identify service gaps and respond more effectively to member concerns.

Recognition and education sector support
Following the dialogue, the Department of Education Schools Division of Cotabato and Kidapawan City awarded plaques of recognition to Veloso. The honors cited his leadership in advancing digital innovation through the GSIS Touch mobile app and his commitment to the Adopt-A-School Program.
The recognition also highlighted GSIS’ partnership with DepEd in supporting education programs and initiatives at the local level. Veloso later met with members of the local media to provide updates on GSIS programs and services.
As part of its corporate social responsibility efforts, GSIS also turned over P400,000 worth of technology packages to Manobisa Integrated School. The school is the third beneficiary adopted by the Kidapawan Branch under the Adopt-A-School program.
Serving members across North Cotabato
Kidapawan Branch Manager Josephine B. Marcial said the branch has remained committed to accessible service delivery since it opened in 2001. She noted that the branch continues to focus on improving member experience through both in-person and digital services.
The Kidapawan Branch currently serves around 29,000 members and pensioners from 98 agencies across the region. It provides insurance coverage, loan programs, and other benefits to government workers.
The anniversary dialogue underscored GSIS’ emphasis on sustained engagement with stakeholders, as the agency continues to refine its services based on member feedback.
