Charles Plumley, General Manager, Great Place To Work Philippines, said:

“Global companies have long come to the Philippines for its people, but this year’s Fortune list illustrates what happens when employers invest in building high-performance workplace cultures.”

“Twenty-seven companies on the list are Certified only in the Philippines, putting Filipino teams at the heart of their recognition. Golden Arches’ debut at No. 7 brings that story to the frontline, where scaling a strong culture across restaurant teams is critical to delivering a consistent customer experience and business results. About the Fortune 100 Best Companies to Work For Southeast Asia

The list ranks Great Place To Work Certified™ companies with at least 200 employees across Brunei, Cambodia, Indonesia, Laos, Malaysia, Myanmar, the Philippines, Singapore, Thailand and Vietnam. Rankings follow Great Place To Work’s For All™ Methodology. Employees respond confidentially to 60 statements and two open-ended questions, and a company ranks highly only when that positive experience is shared across roles, levels and demographic groups. The ranking also takes into account regional headcount and the number of countries in which a company is Certified and surveyed. Companies that do not make the list are never named.

One survey, several recognition opportunities

The Fortune list closes Great Place To Work’s 2026 recognition calendar in the Philippines. A single Trust Index Survey makes a Certified company eligible for consideration across several lists, subject to each list’s criteria:

  • Best Workplaces in the Philippines
  • Best Workplaces in Asia
  • Southeast Asia’s Best Workplaces in Technology
  • Southeast Asia’s Best Workplaces in Healthcare & Biopharma
  • Fortune 100 Best Companies to Work For Southeast Asia
  • Fortune World’s Best Workplaces

Thought starters for media

Built around Filipino teams. Half of the Philippine contingent, 27 companies, is Certified in the Philippines alone. For these employers, many of them global firms with large local operations, the ranking is a verdict on Filipino workplaces specifically.

The frontline can win. McDonald’s Philippines, under Golden Arches, ranks #7 in a business built on restaurant crews, shift work and high volumes of customers. Its debut challenges the assumption that top workplace scores belong to office-based industries.

IT and business services come of age. With 26 professional services and technology companies on the list, the Philippines’ best-known export industry is now also one of its strongest sources of high-trust workplaces.
