Hitman: Absolution Lands on Switch 2 With Better Performance and a Fan-Favorite Game Mode
Agent 47 is heading to Nintendo Switch 2, and physical collectors will not have to wait long to lock in a copy. Limited Run Games opens pre-orders for Hitman: Absolution on Oct. 30, with upgraded performance and Contracts Mode included.
The game follows Agent 47 after the Agency he once served betrays him, leaving him hunted by police and caught in a conspiracy. Feral Interactive developed this Switch 2 version, which Limited Run Games is releasing on a physical Game Card.

Hitman: Absolution Switch 2 Performance Upgrades
The Switch 2 version runs at a higher frame rate and resolution than the original Nintendo Switch release. It also supports the mouse feature of Joy-Con 2 controllers, a useful option for players who prefer pointer-style control.
Those upgrades matter for a stealth game built on timing and observation. Smoother motion can make guard patrols easier to read, while Instinct Mode and Point Shooting remain central tools for planning and executing a hit.
Five difficulty settings, from easy to the punishing Purist mode, give returning fans room to push their skills. Players can also complete Challenges to find new ways to take out their targets.

Hitman: Absolution Physical Edition, Price and Pre-Order Details
Contracts Mode is the headline extra. It lets players build their own missions, share them online and chase leaderboard spots on contracts designed by other agents, which could give the game replay value well beyond its campaign.
The physical edition includes a Game Card, game case and eight-page booklet. It carries an MSRP of $49.99, €55.95, £45 or $70.99 CAD, depending on region.
Pre-orders open Oct. 30, 2026, at noon ET and run through Dec. 6, 2026, at 11:59 p.m. ET on the Limited Run Games website. The card also works on the original Nintendo Switch, though it plays that console’s version of the game.
