Tomb Raider Turns 30 With Jaw-Dropping 8BitDo Xbox Controller
Lara Croft is celebrating three decades of tomb raiding with a gift for gamers. 8BitDo is launching Tomb Raider 30th Anniversary Edition controllers in Europe, with a release expected on November 13, 2026, just in time for the holidays.
Game Outlet Europe, an independent distributor of video games and gaming accessories, announced the news. The lineup includes the Ultimate 3 Controller for Xbox and the Pro 3 Bluetooth Gamepad, both inspired by Lara Croft and the Lost Valley.

8BitDo Ultimate 3 Xbox Controller: Features and Price
The Ultimate 3 is officially licensed for Xbox and works with Xbox Series X|S and Xbox One. It connects via 2.4GHz wireless or a wired link on Xbox, and it offers a polling rate of up to 1000Hz on PC. Bluetooth supports mobile devices.
According to the announcement, the TMR thumbsticks are designed to prevent stick drift. The Hall-effect Impulse Triggers offer two trigger stops, while two back buttons add extra customization.
A Tomb Raider-themed charging dock is included and doubles as a display stand. Game Outlet Europe says the Ultimate 3 will carry an MSRP of £94.99 or €109.99 in the UK and EU.
8BitDo Pro 3 Tomb Raider Edition: Compatibility and Release Date
The Pro 3 Bluetooth Gamepad is built for players who move between platforms. It supports Nintendo Switch and Switch 2 via Bluetooth, 2.4GHz or wired USB, along with Windows, SteamOS and mobile devices.
Swappable magnetic ABXY face buttons are unique to the Pro 3. It also offers TMR thumbsticks, Hall-effect triggers, extra R3 and L4 bumpers, two back buttons, vibration, a Turbo function and 6-axis motion control on Switch and Steam.
Like its sibling, the Pro 3 comes with a themed charging dock. Both controllers work with 8BitDo’s Ultimate Software X and Ultimate Software V2 Mobile, so players can fine-tune their settings.
The Pro 3 carries an MSRP of £69.99 or €79.99. Both models are expected at major European retailers and online storefronts from November 13, but release dates can change, so fans should check retailer listings.
