Donny Pangilinan Hits the Road for Cagayan de Oro Dream Run
Donny Pangilinan is lacing up for Cagayan de Oro. The EastWest Dream Run 2026 heads to the City of Golden Friendships on Sunday, Oct. 18, with Pangilinan joining runners on the scenic route.
The third leg of the four-leg series follows the Manila and Iloilo stops, which gathered more than 9,000 dreamers. Organized by RUNRIO, the event is set at Limketkai Center.
EastWest Dream Run 2026 Cagayan de Oro: Distances, Rewards and Route
The race is part of EastWest’s support for the Department of Tourism’s Love the Philippines campaign. It showcases Cagayan de Oro as an emerging destination for sports tourism.
Runners of all experience levels are welcome, with a 1K Dog Run and 3K, 5K, 10K and 21K distances on offer. The options range from a short, easy run to a longer endurance challenge.
Participants can look forward to a race bib, race singlet, finisher’s medal, loot bag and finisher’s towel. The 21K finishers also receive a shirt, while Dog Run participants get a dog bandana.
The Cagayan de Oro stop continues EastWest’s Dream Run experience of bringing together runners, families and communities. The event is built around an active lifestyle and the personal goals that keep people moving forward.

EastWest Chief Marketing Officer Martin Reyes said the series is about chasing goals. “The EastWest Dream Run has always been about encouraging people to go after their dreams and goals.
“After such strong turnout in Manila and Iloilo, we’re excited to bring that experience to Cagayan de Oro and make race day even more memorable with Donny joining our runners on the course,” Reyes said.
Groups that register 10 runners can receive one free slot through the 10+1 Promo. Groups that register 15 runners can receive two free slots through the 15+2 Promo. EastWest credit cardholders also get a P500 rebate when they use their card to register.
Beyond the route, runners can look forward to a lively race village with raffle prizes, giveaways and special treats from EastWest and its partners. Those include Filinvest, FDC Misamis Power Corporation, Filinvest Land Inc., Visa and EastWest Ageas.
