Chronic Blunt Punch Hits Switch, PS5 With Major Overhaul
Jay and Silent Bob: Chronic Blunt Punch is coming to physical shelves. Limited Run Games, in collaboration with Interabang and Atari, announced the release for Nintendo Switch and PlayStation 5.
The physical edition arrives packed with new updates and features. Pre-orders are open now and run through September 20.

A Beat-‘Em-Up Adventure Through the View Askewniverse
The stylized, hand-drawn brawler lets players go solo or team up in couch co-op. Together, Jay and Silent Bob battle through the streets of the View Askewniverse.
Enemies range from hockey-stick-wielding thugs to massive, movie-inspired bosses. Players will unleash over-the-top combos and catchphrases from the New Jersey Quick Stop to a mysterious mall.
Kevin Smith and Jason Mewes reprise their roles as Silent Bob and Jay. Their voice work brings the game’s signature humor and profanity to life for longtime fans.
Major Gameplay Overhaul Built From Fan Feedback
Since the game’s digital launch months ago, developers have refined combat based on player input. The physical version includes a new checkpoint system and faster combat speeds.
Boss battles now feature new patterns, along with improved hitbox detection and cancelable combos. Polished sprites and updated visuals round out the gameplay refresh.
Players can also build a super meter to unleash special attacks. At full charge, Jay and Silent Bob transform into Bluntman and Chronic for a devastating finishing move.
The physical release includes a game case, disc or cartridge, and an eight-page booklet. Pricing starts at $34.99 in the US, with regional pricing available for other markets.
